Just moved? Added a baby to your family? Got new neighbors with a pet or children that your pup hasn't been able to adjust to? Is he stressed and becoming destructive when left at home?
Senior pets facing their last days will benefit by the soothing and calming energy of Reiki as they (and you) prepare for their journey over The Rainbow Bridge.
We love our pets as though they were our children, so why not offer them Reiki energy and healing?
Animals love Reiki! Reiki is a natural and safe method of healing for people and pets, but the method of providing Reiki for animals is a little different than sharing Reiki with people. A fearful dog will not lay quietly on a massage table and let a Reiki practitioner place their hands on its head for a Reiki session! In fact, it may take more than one session for your pet to warm up to a practitioner, but the effects of Reiki can be felt at a distance so your pet will benefit from just being in the healing space.
Like people, animals react differently to Reiki healing. They have their own personality and their own level of tolerance to new experiences. Ideally, the Reiki practitioner will let your pet set the stage and the pace for the sessions and we, as Reiki professionals, must honor them by following their lead. Depending on their needs, and maybe their curiosity, you may notice them watching the practitioner quietly occupy the space with loving and healing energy. They may walk away, only to return again. They may act indifferent for the entire first session, and then surprise you at the next session by coming closer and accepting the reiki in more "obvious" fashion. Your dog might lay down as he begins to relax in the Reiki energy. As your cat becomes calmer with the healing energy, she will eventually position herself within arms' reach, with the final acceptance stage coming when she physically moves her head or body so that it is touching the practitioner's hands.
Animal Reiki is a drug-free, holistic approach to animal health and is not meant to replace regular veterinarian care.
Animal Reiki - $60 (1st session/consultation)
Pets can be stressed, anxious, and in pain - just like people. They are drawn to the healing properties of Reiki energy and become calmer, healthier, and happier members of your family unit.
End-of-life pet Reiki services available as well.
Because pets need to have time to build trust in their relationship with the Reiki practitioner, an initial series of 3-5 half-hour sessions over a 2-week time span is recommended. After the initial session/consultation, a schedule that will best suit your pet will be agreed upon.
Your pet is an individual. Results and time needed will vary.
1st session/consultation: $60
